About Our Artists

Mayumi Hiraga Wyrick is a violinist with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra and is the second violinist in the Tomodachi String Quartet. She has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, New
Jersey Symphony, San Francisco Opera, and San Francisco Symphony. Mayumi studied at the New England Conservatory, and the Conservatory of Amsterdam under Vera Beths and Anner
Bylsma. She has participated in summer festivals including Aspen, Schleswig-Holstein, and Kneisel Hall, and has performed as a chamber musician at the 92nd Street Y, Gualala Arts Center.
